New
- Release notes are now on the Potluck website, linked at the bottom of every page.
v0.2.47 - Your upcoming potlucks now appear at the top of the home page when you're signed in.
v0.2.48 - Guests who said they're coming but haven't picked anything to bring get a gentle reminder on the potluck page.
v0.2.49 - Hosts see which guests are coming without a dish yet, with a ready-made WhatsApp reminder for each one.
v0.2.49 - You can now let an AI assistant like Claude help manage your potluck, from the sparkle button on the potluck page.
v0.2.50 - Subscribe to your potlucks from your calendar app. They show up automatically and stay up to date.
v0.2.52 - Guests who are coming but haven't claimed a dish get a reminder email about three days before the potluck. You can turn it off from your profile or from the email.
v0.2.52 - Each category now shows a row of dots for its dishes, with a label saying how many are still needed or how many extra there are.
v0.2.61 - A "What's missing?" section on the potluck page shows at a glance which categories need more dishes and which have plenty. It stays closed until you tap it.
v0.2.61 - Give any dish a thumbs up or thumbs down. Everyone sees the counts and who voted. Tap your thumb again to take it back.
v0.2.62 - Switch how dishes are shown: compact tiles, a simple list, or grouped by who's bringing them.
v0.2.62 - The potluck table now comes alive. Each dish has its own little joke, seasonal visitors wander across, and tapping a plate or the centerpiece plays an animation.
v0.2.62
Improved
- Upcoming potlucks on the home page are easier to spot.
v0.2.51 - You can now move a dish to a different category, like from Sides to Mains, with the ⇄ button next to it.
v0.2.53 - When you add a dish, Potluck suggests a better category if it looks like it belongs somewhere else.
v0.2.54 - Reminder emails have a fresh paper-cut look to match the app.
v0.2.59 - Anyone at the potluck can now move a dish to the right category, like a turkey from Sides to Mains. Drag it on a computer, or tap ⇄ next to it on a phone. The dish shows who moved it.
v0.2.60 - The list of what the host is bringing is now a compact set of tags with food icons.
v0.2.61 - The "By person" view now shows one card per guest with everything they're bringing, across all categories.
v0.2.64 - The animated table plays its random surprises less often, about every 15 to 30 seconds.
v0.2.63 - Sharing a potluck link in a chat or on social media now shows a paper-cut card with the potluck's name, date and place, instead of a large app icon.
v0.2.65 - Your account menu now lists your next upcoming potlucks, with the ones you're hosting marked, plus quick links to start a potluck and read the release notes.
v0.2.66 - Potlucks that start within 3 hours of another one you're going to now show a heads-up when you join or add a dish. You can still join, and your home page flags the overlap.
v0.2.67
Fixed
- Turning off reminder emails from the email link no longer gets switched back on when you save your profile in a page you already had open.
v0.2.54 - The household fields on your profile no longer spill outside the card on narrow phone screens.
v0.2.62 - Shared potluck links showed the start time 4 hours late. They now show the right time.
