Guests can say they can't make it and leave dishes up for grabs, hosts can remove a guest or host a past potluck again, plus fixes for switching potlucks, sign-in, creating potlucks, lost dish forms and hidden categories.

  • Guests who can't make it anymore can tap "I can't make it" and choose, for each dish, to remove it or leave it up for grabs. v0.2.73
  • Dishes left up for grabs stay on the list, and any guest can tap "I'll bring it" to take one over. v0.2.73
  • Hosts can take a guest off the guest list from the by-person view. v0.2.73
  • Hosts can start a new potluck from a past one with "Host again". The title, place, categories and what you're providing are filled in for you. v0.2.73

Fixed

  • Opening a second potluck could briefly show the previous one, and a dish added in that moment was saved to the wrong potluck. v0.2.72
  • After a guest signed in with Google, comments and votes on their dishes disappeared. They now stay with the dish. v0.2.72
  • If moving a guest's dishes to their account was interrupted, reloading could copy them twice or move them to the wrong account. v0.2.72
  • Signing out on a shared phone left your name and allergies behind for the next guest. They are now cleared. v0.2.72
  • Turning off a category could hide its dishes when "Other / Supplies" was off. If saving failed, the dishes moved anyway. Dishes now move to Other / Supplies, which turns on, and only when the save succeeds. v0.2.72
  • A guest could move someone else's dish into a hidden category so nobody saw it. That is no longer possible. v0.2.72
  • A potluck page could fail to open for everyone if one dish or guest entry was missing information. v0.2.74
  • The app could stay blank if the French text failed to load or the browser blocks site storage. It now opens anyway, in English if needed. v0.2.74
  • Tapping "Create my potluck" twice on a slow phone could create the potluck twice. v0.2.74
  • Creating a potluck with no connection got stuck on "Creating…", and trying again later could make a second copy. You now get a clear offline message, and retrying never makes a copy. v0.2.74
  • Creating a potluck could change the usual place or drinks setting saved on your profile. v0.2.74
  • When a dish failed to save, the form closed and lost what you typed. It now stays open. v0.2.74
  • A title or name that was too long, or a headcount over 1000, failed with a vague error. The form now limits them and says what to fix. v0.2.74
  • Setting drinks to "none" hid drinks guests had already added. They now stay visible. v0.2.74
  • Cancelled potlucks showed under Upcoming on the home page. v0.2.74
  • Dishes tagged shellfish showed a code instead of the word "Shellfish". v0.2.74
  • The AI assistant could fail to save a dish or RSVP when dietary needs were spelled differently. v0.2.74
